Adjacent to the newly-built three spots, the old-line LinhuPark has been linked up with LianhuPark, CitizenPark and Dahu scenic spot with a total area of 5 km2. Its beauty can match to that of the WestLake in Hangzhou.This cultural atmosphere has been enhanced with some built-in recreational and theme spots, such as Cultural Square, HuangmeiOperaCenter, Deng Shiru Stele House, Hui style bonsai garden, Science and TechnologyMuseum as well as the statues of such celebrities as Cheng Changgeng and Deng Jiaxian. The urban green space coverage has reached to 38.26%, the greenbelt 35.66% resulting in an average greenbelt area per person is 8.03 m2 .

Anqing is an excellent NationalTourismCity with beautiful mountains and rivers and rich in natural resources. It includes not only the national 4A-grade scenic spots of TianzhuMountain and HuatingLake, but also more than ten nationally- recognized areas, national nature reserves, forest parks, and geological parks or cultural relic conservation spots, such as DalongMountain, XiaoguMountain, FushanMountain and Yaoluoping nature reserve. It is also a transportation link between JiuhuaMountain, YellowMountain and LushanMountain, all well-known scenic spots around the globe.

The district of Anqing is the intersection of the Shanghai-Chengdu, Dongxiang, Anqing-Hefei and Hefei-Tongling-Huangshan freeways, three national highways (No. 105, 206 and 318), the Hefei-Jiujiang railway and the AnqingYangtze RiverExpresswayBridge. The AnqingRailwayBridge, presently under construction, will cross the River to join with the intercity railway from Nanjing to Aniqng, Yanjiang freeway and the freeway from Anqing to Jingdezhen. AnqingTianzhuMountainCivilAviationAirport, which is presently under expansion, now has flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Xiamen.
